Some press reports revealed the latest developments in the transfer of Mohamed Salah, the English Liverpool player, to the ranks of the Al-Ittihad team.

Mohamed Salah has a contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2025, and several reports recently stated that the Reds are trying to fortify the Egyptian star with a new contract.

According to The Athletic newspaper, Al-Ittihad has not given up and is planning to make a record offer, in order to obtain Mohamed Salah’s signature.

Salah’s salary with Al-Ittihad will be 85 million euros, four times the salary he currently receives in the English Premier League.

She indicated that Al-Ittihad is preparing a huge offer worth 235 million euros to persuade Liverpool to abandon Salah.

If the Reds agree, Salah will become the most expensive transfer deal ever in the history of football, surpassing the 222 million euros that Paris Saint-Germain paid to include Neymar in 2017.
